Celtic Throne II: Psalter of Ireland – Presented by Armstrong Dance
Experience the electrifying fusion of Irish dance, music, theater and cinema in “Celtic Throne II – Psalter of Ireland,” an epic journey in exploring the ancient origins of Ireland. This trailblazing new show tells the story of Ollav Fola, the legendary Irish sage and legislator who carried the legacy of one of the world’s greatest kings to the British Isles.

“Kong’s Night Out”
This is the story of what happened in the hotel room next to the hotel room where Ann was whisked out of the bed and into the Manhattan night by King Kong. There’s always a backstory. Myron Siegel is a low-end Broadway producer who desperately wants to be high end. Trouble is, he has, for his entire career, been sabotaged by his archrival, who is ultra-famous for making movies about scary jungle creatures.

Make Your Own Sand Carving
Learn the history of Native American petroglyphs and see examples from the Taíno, indigenous Caribbeans. Then create and carve your own symbol inspired by petroglyphs. This Richrdson Public Library-sponsored program is for adults and teens.

First Fridays
Eisemann Center Presents a small reception on the first Friday night of each month completely free and open to the public to celebrate the new exhibit in the Forrest and Virginia Green Mezzanine Gallery. This month, the Richardson Civic Art Society presents its Annual Regional Jury Exhibition.

Moth Night
Discover the incredible variety and beauty of moths and nocturnal insects hiding right in Breckinridge Park. This is a fantastic, hands-on event for families, nature photographers and curious minds of all ages. There will be special lighting setups to attract these fascinating creatures and local experts on hand from Blackland Prairie and North Texas Chapters of Texas Master Naturalists to help identify what is found.

Blackland Prairie Live Raptors
Day and night, raptors patrol in search of a meal. Learn about their unique adaptations to hunt in woodlands, wetlands and prairies and watch live demos of their capabilities featuring raptors of different species and sizes. Summer Vacation
The Richardson Community Band will get your vacation started with a flurry of excitement as the band performs music from favorite video games, anime and comics. From the theme to “Dragon Ball Z” to “Super Mario Brothers,” the band will get you “movin’ and groovin’.” The band will also throw in a bonus of Billy Bonner singing. Add to that the nice breeze and shade at the pleasant Huffhines Park, and you come up with an enjoyable evening.
