“Ruby Tuesday” is a story inspired by the feeling engendered by the classic Rolling Stones hit where someone significantly passes through your life leaving a bittersweet mixture of grief and gratitude.

Soccer Viewing Gatherings in the Richardson IQ® 

Experience soccer viewing in the Richardson IQ®. View indoor or out on big screens while live soccer happens all around you on Soccer Spectrum fields. With both indoor and outdoor bars and an onsite kitchen with a classically trained chef, expect food and drink specials as well.

Ears Up Dog Obedience Class 

Take the next step in your dog training journey. Join the life skills novice class to learn how to communicate with your dog and teach them skills they need to be an integrated part of the family. Once that training is complete you and your pup can advance to the advanced rally class where you will work on proofing foundation behaviors from the previous class and add many more challenges and distractions.

Family 4th Celebration Logo

Family 4th Celebration 

The City of Richardson annual Family 4th Celebration is held at Breckinridge Park. This traditional, patriotic salute is free and open to the entire community. Attendees can bring picnics, blankets and/or lawn chairs and enjoy children’s activities, concessions, a patriotic musical salute and fireworks.  

Parking is limited, therefore a free round-trip shuttle service will be offered from the designated off-site parking locations at 3001 & 3101 President George Bush Turnpike in Richardson. Space is limited on the shuttles, so please be mindful of the number of items you are traveling with. Shuttles will begin at 6 p.m. and the last bus will depart from the off-site parking to the park at 8:45 p.m.

Decorate your own tiny time capsule to save your memories and tell a story for your future self to unearth. Bring your own container or use one provided by the Richardson Public Library, then take it home to fill and hide. This program is for kids ages 5 and older. Celebrate the holiday season early at the this festive cookie decorating workshop. In this hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop, you will decorate six cookies using four icing colors while learning essential decorating techniques. The class will cover baking basics along with foundational royal icing skills like piping, flooding and adding detailed finishing touches. No experience is needed and all supplies will be provided.

Richardson Disc Golf Tournament – Registration Open 

Register to participate in Richardson’s Disc Golf Tournament. There will be one round consisting of 18 holes. In partnership with Innova Disc Golf, there will also be prizes for top winners in both divisions and player packs.
