Free Coworking in The CORE District 

Communion Neighborhood Cooperative is inviting the community to enjoy its open coworking area for free this summer, with free Day Passes available every Wednesday. The open coworking area includes access to high-speed internet, and a variety of comfortable workspaces. Passes may be picked up on Wednesday just inside the front door.

Play a round (or two) of disc golf at Breckinridge Park. The disc golf course of Breckinridge Park was designed by Eric McCabe, one of the most-renowned disc golf course designers and the winner of the 2010 Professional Disc Golf Association World Championship.

Art Piece Unveiling

Art Piece Unveiling – A Masterpiece in LEGO Bricks 

The Richardson Police Department invites the community to attend the unveiling of a one-of-a-kind LEGO replica of the Richardson Police and Fire Public Safety Campus. It was created entirely from LEGO bricks by Garland Police Officer John Capers. The project was made possible through the generous support of the Richardson Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association (RCPAAA), whose funding brought the vision to life. The LEGO replica will be permanently displayed in the main lobby of the Richardson Police Department, where visitors can enjoy it during normal business hours.

Darin Kinder, a 25-year veteran of the Secret Service and a survivor of the 9/11 attacks, will lecture about his book, “Bury Me in a Dirty Suit.” The book covers resilience, teamwork, meaning and other important themes also reflected in the 2026 Richardson Reads One Book pick. This Richardson Public Library-sponsored program is for adults and teens.
