This evening, Mayor Bob Townsend will present Richardson’s State of the City Address during an open-to-the-public event at Richardson’s Eisemann Center. During the address, he will announce the City’s plans to develop a Cultural Arts Master Plan and will preview the City’s new website.
In addition to discussing some of the economic challenges and successes from 2011, Mayor Townsend’s remarks will focus on the Richardson City Council’s statement of goals in various “areas of excellence,” and the City’s 2011 accomplishments for each of those focus areas.
The address will be available for live online viewing by the public on the City website, www.cor.net, and archived video of the remarks will also be available soon afterward on the site.
