“We’re Not All Here” 

Folding Chairs Sketch Comedy is back at The Core Theatre for more peak comedy. The comedy troupe has stories to tell. Stories about hot air ballon proposals, Humpty Dumpty, Zumba cults and the greatest wish in the history of the world. The troupe will push boundaries, question reality and consider “comfort zones” uncomfortable.

First Fridays Art Reception

Intro to 3D Printing with Tinkercad 

Join the Richardson Public Library for an introduction to Tinkercad. This is a hands-on class where participants will learn to navigate through Tinkercad’s main 3D design resources, manipulate Tinkercad’s basic geometric shapes, export a 3D model for printing and print on the Library’s 3D printer. This class is for anyone 18 years and older.

1st Saturday Walk & Talk Bird Tour 

Join the John Bunker Sands Wetland Center to learn about the birds that live at the wetland. Led by master birders, the tour is for beginning and intermediate birders. Learn how to use binoculars, field guides, keep a life list and identify birds.

Tales for Tails 

Kids in grades K-4 can work on reading skills and meet a lot of friendly canine companions when they read to live therapy dogs. They will attend independently for 10-minute sessions with a dog. All ages are welcome to meet the dogs around 3:50 p.m.

“Jaane Pehchaane Anjane” 

Jaane Pehchaane Anjane” is a Hindi musical stage play starring Anupam Kher and Swaroop Sampat. The play is written and directed by Gajendra Ahire, with music composed by Anu Malik. The play explores modern relationships, loneliness, companionship, identity and the emotional connections between people who may appear familiar yet remain strangers. It combines humor, drama, music and heartfelt storytelling.

Spice of the Month Kits 

Each month, the Richardson Public Library highlights a new spice and books that feature that spice. Spice kits include a sample of the spice, background information and two recipes from the Library’s collection. Kits will be available on the first Monday of each month while supplies last.

Gobble Hobble - Registration Open

Registration is open for the 21st Annual Richardson Gobble Hobble. This event, featuring a 5K, 10K and a 1-mile Digital Dash Fun Run, benefits the Richardson Boys & Girls Club. The course is fast, flat and features views of the Spring Creek Nature Preserve.
