Create New Online Account

If you are a general contractor, a new trade contractor, or if your registration has expired, please complete the contractor's registration application and email it to permits@cor.gov.  Trade contractor's need to provide a copy of their license(s).

Contractors looking for miscellaneous permits involving electrical, plumbing, gas or mechanical repairs or replacements may create an online account. Your contractor registration must be current with Richardson to create a new online account.

 Online Permits

The types of permits you may obtain online are miscellaneous permits involving electrical, plumbing, gas or mechanical repairs or replacements. Most of these permits require a licensed contractor to obtain the permit and perform the work. The permits may be purchased using VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express.  Applications requiring plans, cannot be obtained online.  

To validate under an existing building permit, complete a contractor's voucher and email it to permits@cor.gov. Please call 972-744-4180 for questions.
