Richardson’s Communications Department provides leadership, expertise, management and coordination to develop successful communications strategies and services that advance the mission of the City of Richardson municipal government.
The department strives to provide high-quality, proactive, creative, innovative and collaborative content while communicating clear, concise, relevant and consistent information. Multiple media platforms are used to provide information including print, video, social media and other digital forms of communication.

This includes television production, photography, audio services, computer graphics, audio/visual equipment and technical support.
CITV also performs live broadcasts of City Council work sessions and meetings as well as City Plan Commission meetings on Time Warner Cable channel 16 and AT&T U-Verse channel 99. Streaming meetings and on-demand video are also available online at www.cor.net/CITV.
