Citizens Information Services (CIS) provides centralized assistance and information for residents and the news media.

The CIS staff produces the City's publications which include a monthly newsletter called Richardson Today, which is mailed to all Richardson residents. Richardson Today includes announcements of City activities, information for Richardson's senior citizens, public safety information, quarterly crime statistics, information on the arts, the Richardson Public Library, city recreation activities and City Council action.

The CIS staff also produces brochures, posters, banners and other printed material to help keep residents informed about all of the exciting events taking place in the City each year.  

In addition, the CIS staff writes and publishes the "Week in a Review," an informative e-newsletter that is disseminated every Friday with up-to-the-minute news of the week. Sign up for this publication at left or by going here.
