A temporary 90-day prohibition on the approval of new short-term rental (STR) registrations is in effect from May 27, 2026 to Aug. 25, 2026, while the City conducts additional public outreach, data collection, and analysis related to STR operations in neighborhoods. STRs may register during the grace period, which runs from now through May 27, 2026.
The interim prohibition is intended to give the City time to further evaluate concerns raised by residents, including potential clustering of short-term rentals, disruptive gatherings, parking impacts, and other neighborhood health and safety issues
