Applications and Forms
The Development and Engineering Division coordinates the review of development proposals for residential and non-residential construction within the city. Plats/replats, site plans, landscape plans, building elevations, and civil engineering drawings are subject to approval prior to the start of a building project. Once a complete application package has been submitted, Development and Engineering staff collect comments from various departments to ensure the plans are prepared in compliance with City codes and ordinances (Richardson Code of Ordinances). These proposals are then presented for approval to the City Plan Commission.
