Court matter(s) may be resolved by compliance with statutory and/or Court Ordered Requirements.

Dismissal of a case must adhere to specific protocols and guidelines as outlined by state statute. Eligibility for dismissal is determined based on legal requirements and the submission of appropriate documentation.

Document Completion

Submit Proof of Court-Ordered Requirements:

If you were placed on Driving Safety Course or Deferred Disposition or required to complete any other Court Ordered Requirement, use this link to submit the required proof of completion, including:

✔️ Driving Safety Course Certificate of Completion
✔️ Driving Record
✔️ Class/Course/Training Completion Certificate
✔️ Proof of Insurance (covering the term of your deferral)
✔️ Statement of Compliance (if applicable)
✔️ Any other document required by the Judge (if applicable) (i.e. Community Service, etc.)
Ensure all required documents are submitted on time to maintain compliance with your court order.

Insurance Dismissal

Important Notice: Use this link ONLY if you received a citation for "Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility" (FMFR / No Insurance) AND you have valid proof of insurance that was in effect prior to the alleged offense, covering you as a driver and/or the vehicle you were operating at the time of the citation.

⚠️Do NOT use this link if your insurance coverage was obtained after the date of the offense.

Proof Dismissal

When to Use This Link:  Use this link ONLY if you received a citation for an offense that was corrected AFTER the incident but BEFORE your citation appearance date.

Dismissal Requirements:

  • Dismissal is contingent upon payment of a $10 or $20 dismissal fee.
  • The Court will review your proof and notify you if it is sufficient for dismissal, along with the deadline to pay the dismissal fee.
  • Failure to pay the dismissal fee on time may result in denial of your dismissal request and could lead to a judgment and conviction, requiring payment of the full fine and court costs.

📌Follow-up Required: Please contact the Court within 3 business days after submitting your proof to verify the status of your request.

Examples of Proof Dismissal Offenses:
  • Expired Registration
  • Improper Registration 
  • None/One License Plate
  • Unclean/Obscured License Plate
  • Expired Disabled Parking Placard 
  • Expired Driver's License
  • Violate Driver's License Restriction (endorsement because of a physical condition that is corrected or DPS removed a restriction, etc.)
  • Fail to Report Change of Address/Name
  • Fail to Display Driver's License
  • Defective Equipment
