Neighborhood Swim Teams

The City of Richardson Neighborhood Swim Team is designed to help children improve their swimming abilities, introduce a competitive nature, and most importantly have fun! This program is often used as a stepping stone to more competitive programs such as high school and club teams.

Neighborhood Swim Teams runs for 8 weeks in June and July. Practices are held daily, and four swim meets are scheduled on Saturday mornings at Cottonwood Pool.

Swimmers are responsible for purchasing their own swim suits, available at Xtreme Swim Shop. T-shirts, caps, and goggles are provided to the swimmers by the City of Richardson.

Swimmers must be at least 5 years old and capable of swimming the entire length of the pool.
