Thank you to everyone that participated in Santa's Village on Parade this year! The following participants were selected as this year's award winners. Congratulations!

Best Overall Award
Given to the entry that shows creativity, personality and originality all while incorporating the Santa’s Village theme.

Holiday Extravaganza Award
Given to the entry that displays the most extravagant details in the creation of their float.

Rules and Regulations for Participants

Community (non-commercial) parade entries are $10 plus unwrapped toy(s). Commercial (a business or and entry that promotes a business) entries are $25 plus unwrapped toy(s). Parade Sponsorships are available. Multiple toy donations are encouraged for larger participating groups or businesses (please no skateboards, scooters or bicycles). All registration fees, unwrapped toy(s) and donations benefit Network of Community Ministries. Sponsorships are available as well (see below).
The Shoebox Parade registration and float submission deadline is Monday, November 30 no later than 7:30 p.m. or when full as space is limited.
All float submissions must physically be delivered to Heights Recreation Center along with toy donation(s), Profile Form and confirmation of payment.
Floats should be no larger than 24” by 24” by 24” and must be decorated and homemade.
Entries should align with the Santa’s Village theme! All entries should be appropriate for a family audience.
The City of Richardson reserves the right to exclude any submissions that do not meet the guidelines or that feature inappropriate content.
There is only ONE Santa in the parade – he has already accepted our invitation to attend. However, we do encourage elves, Mrs. Claus, or other characters that you have seen at Santa’s Village to be used in your decorating.
Parade award winners will be announced during the video and will be emailed prize collection details after airing.
By completing a Registration Form and submitting a float, you are giving the City of Richardson permission to show your float and description information during the creation of the video parade. This recording may be published on, but not limited to, the City of Richardson website, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and other social media platforms.
The City of Richardson is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged entries.
All floats must be picked up from Heights Recreation Center by December 30, 2020 or they will become the property of the City of Richardson.
