It's that time again Richardson for the Healthier Texas Community Challenge, an eight-week health competition between communities across the state of Texas. The challenge will start Feb. 2 and end March 29.

Texans across the state compete and earn points by eating healthy, being active and staying hydrated. We are bringing back the free group classes for all participants ranging from fitness classes to nutritional cooking classes. Points will be tracked through the Wellnify app, available for free on both iPhone and Android devices.

We are also excited to announce the new partnership with University of Texas at Dallas for this year's challenge to help boost overall engagement and participation across the City.
