It's that time again Richardson for the Healthier Texas Community Challenge. Formerly known as It's Time Texas Community Challenge, is an eight-week health competition between communities across the state of Texas. The challenge will start on January 13th, 2025 and end on March 9th, 2025. Texans across the state compete and earn points by eating healthy, being active, and staying hydrated. This year we are offering free group class for all participants ranging from fitness classes to nutritional cooking classes.
Kick off the challenge by joining us on January 25, 2025 at 9 a.m. at Huffhines Parks for the Walk & Yoga Event. The Yoga portion will immediately take place after the completion of the walk at Huffhines Recreation Center. We will be dispersing t-shirts to the first 100 participants to arrive and will host a raffle drawing as well.
