Shawn Foster has worked at Huffhines Tennis Center since 2000. He started playing tennis at the age of seven and was a Super Champ and Regional Tennis Qualifier for four years at North Mesquite High School. He received an NCAA Division II tennis scholarship at Cameron University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education. After college, he returned to Dallas and began his professional teaching career as an Assistant Tennis Professional at the Jewish Community Center from 1996 to 1999. Shawn served on the Dallas Professional Tennis Association Board from 2009 to 2011 and on the Dallas Tennis Association Junior Team Tennis Committee from 2009 to 2010. Currently, Shawn is a USPTA P-1 Elite certified tennis professional. He teaches all ages and skill levels in both group and one-on-one training. He continues to play competitively in United States Tennis Association tournaments and leagues.

Walt Williams is the Program Coordinator and Head Tennis Professional at Huffhines Tennis Center. He joined Huffhines in 2011 after serving as the Director of Junior Tennis at Greenhill Tennis Center from 2009 to 2011 and as an Assistant Tennis Professional at Fretz Tennis Center from 2002 to 2009. He is a USPTA P-1 Elite certified tennis professional. Walt directs and coordinates the instructional program and junior programming at Huffhines Tennis Center. He has coached many Champ and Super Champ juniors, as well as numerous adult Tennis Competitors of Dallas, Metro, and USTA teams. Walt started playing tennis at the age of five and was a three-time high school state runner-up at No. 1 doubles in Oklahoma. He received his bachelor’s degree in History and played collegiate tennis at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma, helping lead his team to a top 10 national finish in 2001. Walt served on the Dallas Professional Tennis Association Board from 2012 to 2014 and currently serves as Tournament Administrator for the Dallas Professional Tennis Association.
