The TexShare Card is a statewide library card that allows you to borrow materials from participating libraries throughout Texas.

To obtain a TexShare Card from the Richardson Public Library, you must:

  1. be a Richardson resident, 16 years old or older
  2. have had your Richardson Public Library card for six months or longer
  3. demonstrated compliance with the Library's borrowing policies
  4. be a member in good standing

Patrons meeting these requirements should apply for the TexShare Card at the 1st Floor Circulation Desk in the Library. Please note that the TexShare Card has an expiration date.

To make use of your TexShare Card, present the card at the Circulation Desk of a participating library. Registration and lending policies are set by each participating library; for more information about the TexShare Card, click here.

Please return materials borrowed from another library to the lending library by the due date. Fees will be assessed for lost, late, or damaged materials.

For more information, or to verify whether you qualify for a TexShare Card, call RPL's Circulation Desk at 972-744-4363.
