Free Wi-Fi Access

Free, unlimited Wi-Fi access is available throughout the Library. Patrons are responsible for understanding and configuring their own equipment. The city’s network is an 802.11 B/G setup and you must have a B or G wireless card along with an active external email account.

Wireless Card Settings:
Use the software that came with your wireless card or computer to configure the settings and to verify a connection to the Library’s wireless network.  From the available networks, connect to the CORNET network.

  1. Open your browser and go to the Library's "Free Wi-Fi" page.
  2. Read the "Terms of Service".
  3. Enter your email address at the bottom of the page; click "Accept".
  4. Once your connection is successful, you will be redirected to the Library's webpage.

Wireless Printing for iOS Systems (iPads & iPhones):

  1. Connect to the Library's Wi-Fi (CORNET).
  2. Download and install the Pharos Print app from the App store.
  3. Open the Pharos Print app and select "Connect" . . .
                       Server Address:  mobileprint.cor.gov 
                       Server Port:  443
  4. Enter your user name (Library Card #) and password (PIN #) and select "Log On" to enter the Pharos Print app.
  5. Minimize the Pharos Print app by using the "Home" button.
  6. The following file types CAN be printed:
                      Microsoft WORD, Excel, PowerPoint, or Visio
                      Text (RTF; TXT; CSV)
                      Images (JPG; TIFF; GIF; BMP; PNG).
  7. The file to be printed must in an app that supports "Open In" (example: Dropbox, Mail, iPhoto).  In the app, select the file to be printed, click "Open In" and then select the Pharos Print icon from the available options.

Wireless Printing for Laptops (Windows 7; Windows 8; Windows 8.1; Windows RT; MAC OS):

  1. Connect to the Library's Wi-Fi (CORNET).
  2. In your browser, go to . . .
  3. Log in with your Library Card # (User ID) and PIN # (password)
  4. Select "Upload" to choose the files to print (maximum file size allowed is 50 MB).
  5. Browse to the location of your document and select it.
  6. The following file types CAN be printed:
                      Microsoft WORD, Excel, PowerPoint, or Visio
                      Text (RTF; TXT; CSV)
                      Images (JPG; TIFF; GIF; BMP; PNG).
  7. Emails and web pages must be printed to a file before being uploaded to print (current editions of Chrome offer a "Save as PDF" option).
  8. Your entire document will print.  To print only a portion of a document, a new document will have to be created which includes only the information you wish to print.
  9. Selected print jobs can be printed in B&W (15 cents/page) or color (50 cents/per).  Multiple copies can also be printed--see the "Print Options" area at the bottom of the Mobile Print web page. 

Releasing Print Jobs

Print release stations are located on the 1st and 2nd floors of the Library.  Log in to a print release station with your Library Card # and your PIN #.  Your print jobs will be listed--highlight the jobs you wish to print.

Insert money into the white coin box next to the print release station, then click "Print" on the print release station screen.

Retrieve color prints on the 2nd Floor; B&W prints are retrieved from printers on the same floor as the one on which they were released. 

The following devices will NOT work with our wireless printing:

  • Android devices
  • Android-based devices (Kindle tablets; NOOK tablets; others)
  • Phones with a Windows operating system
