Baby Booksit (6 weeks - 12 months) Welcome to Baby Booksit! In this storytime, babies are introduced to books, stories, rhymes, fingerplays, music and other early literacy tools. Baby must be accompanied by at least one parent. Baby Booksit is for Richardson residents only, registration required and space is limited.
For Spring 2026, storytimes will begin January 26 and continue through March 6.
Baby Booksit will be offered at the following times:

Baby Steps (12 - 24 months) Welcome to Baby Steps Storytime! Introduce your beginning walker to reading with books, rhymes, music, fingerplays, and movement activities. Beginning walkers must be accompanied by at least one parent. Baby Steps is for Richardson residents only, registration required and space is limited.
For Spring 2026, storytimes will begin January 26 and continue through March 6.

Wiggle Worms (2 - 3 years) Welcome to Wiggle Worms Storytime! Wiggle Worms is for toddlers 2 - 3 years old. They are introduced to books and reading using stories, fingerplays, rhymes, and music. Wiggle Worms is for Richardson residents only, registration required and space is limited.
For Spring 2026, storytimes will begin January 26 and continue through March 6.

Storytimes (Open to All)

Saturday Morning Kids Saturdays, 10:30 - 11 AM Council Chambers
Join us for a family storytime program geared towards children ages 3 to 6 years. All children must be accompanied by at least one adult. No residency or registration requirements. For Spring 2026, Saturday Morning Kids will be on Saturdays from 10:30 to 11:00 AM, January 3 through March 21.

Story Stroll Grab your strollers and stretch your legs with us this fall! Join us for a storytime at the park pavilion, then enjoy a walk through the park as we connect to nature with movement, rhymes, and fun. For ages 3 and under. Subject to cancellation due to inclement weather. Registration not required. |

Nite! Nite! Bedtime Stories Wind down with songs, books, flannels, and other bedtime activities. Wear your favorite comfy pajamas and bring a stuffed animal along. For ages 3 - 7. Registration not required. |
