Active Transportation Plan

Creating a Active Transportation Plan (ATP) was the next step in building an safe, accessible and well-connected environment for mobility in the City of Richardson. The ATP serves as a road map for short and long-term priorities addressing non-motorized transportation facility connections. This plan presents a new action plan to improve active transportation that benefits the Richardson community through appropriate facility solutions and policy and program recommendations. Complete Street Policy

Safe Routes to School

Safe Routes to School encourages increased student physical activity through safe and active transport to and from school through educating the community about the road and traffic safety as well as making improvements to the build environment. Safety Action Plan

Safety Action Plan is a comprehensive safety plan aimed at reducing and eliminating serious injury and fatal crashes affecting all roadway users. The plan uses data analysis to characterize roadway safety problems and strengthen a community's approach.
