Home MenuSafer Streets Richardson
As part of Richardson’s overall aspiration to develop, “A comprehensive multimodal transportation system that facilitates safe, accessible, comfortable, and convenient mobility for all people and travel modes,” (2024 Complete Streets Policy), the City of Richardson is developing a Safety Action Plan to help create a safer mobility system for all. The program aims to provide a collaborative and data-driven strategy to reduce transportation-related fatalities and serious injuries. Through Safer Streets Richardson, the City will determine policy and program-related safety strategies and develop roadway project recommendations.
