The Richardson City Council holds public meetings in two separate venues located at the Richardson City Hall/Civic Center facility located at 411 W. Arapaho Rd. City Council business meetings are held in the Council Chambers while work session meetings are held in the Richardson Room. Both rooms have been modified to provide for COVID-19 related safety protocols following “social distancing” guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that can be found here. Seating in the Council Chambers and Richardson Room is limited, with overflow seating available where live video of the meeting will be made available.
How to Submit Public Comment
Public comment for City Council meetings is available both in person or by submitting them electronically (see below).
- Submit comments electronically by clicking here. Comments must be submitted by 5 p.m. the day of the meeting and will be acknowledged during the meeting.
- Provide comments in person during the meeting by completing the City Council Public Comment Card prior to the meeting.
The City Council typically holds business meetings on the second and fourth Monday of each month in the Council Chambers and work sessions are typically held every Monday. Meeting times and locations are subject to change and are posted and available to find online here.
Citizens are welcome to attend Council meetings and may speak during the visitor’s section or during the public comment section for agenda items identified as a public hearing. Residents who do not wish to attend in person due to COVID-19 concerns can submit comments electronically and watch the City Council meeting online (www.cor.net/citv), or on cable channel 16 for Spectrum Cable customers or Channel 99 for AT&T U-Verse customers.
