Shop the Peanut Butter Drive Wish List

The North Texas Food Bank’s annual Peanut Butter Drive runs Sept. 1-30, and Richardson is one of the cities participating. The drive is being held throughout September, with the goal of collecting, both physically and online through monetary donations, to help feed North Texans facing hunger. 

In conjunction with Hunger Action Month held every year during the month of September, the Peanut Butter Drive creates awareness about food insecurity in our community while collecting a shelf-stable, kid-friendly protein for hungry North Texans. According to Feeding America, 1 in 6 children in NTFB's service area are food insecure. The Peanut Butter Drive puts a platform in place for concerned citizens to help. 

Peanut butter is perpetually on food bank lists of most-needed foods, since it’s nutritious, kid-friendly and high in protein. Local donations may be taken directly to Network of Community Ministries, which operates a Mobile Food Pantry and other food programs and is a recipient of the drive. Drop off jars at Network, 1500 International Pkwy., or donate peanut butter through Amazon. To make a financial donation toward the drive, donate to the peanut butter drive online.
