Proposition D | Sidewalks
$16,500,000
Proposition D would authorize bond funding for sidewalk and pedestrian infrastructure projects at various locations throughout the city. Projects included under this proposition address existing sidewalk facilities, locations where sidewalks are currently missing, and pedestrian infrastructure at selected intersections.
Sidewalk Rehabilitation Projects
Reconstruction and replacement of sidewalk facilities to address condition and accessibility needs, including associated infrastructure, as needed.
Commercial Sidewalk Areas: Commercial Area C5 & Commercial Area C8
Residential Sidewalk Areas: Residential Area R3 & Residential Area R5
Sidewalk Gap Projects
Sidewalk gap projects address locations where sidewalks do not currently exist, resulting in discontinuities along a street corridor. These projects do not involve removal or replacement of existing sidewalks. They do include the construction of new sidewalk facilities including associated infrastructure, as needed.
