Proposition E | Drainage
$16,500,000

Proposition E would authorize bond funding for drainage infrastructure projects at various locations throughout the city. Projects included under this proposition address drainage capacity, flood prevention, and erosion conditions within drainage corridors.

Use of Adopted Plans

Drainage projects included under Proposition E were informed by adopted City drainage studies and planning efforts, which were used as references to help identify types of drainage infrastructure needs and locations for consideration.

Flood Prevention Projects

Lois Branch Flood Prevention – Phase I & II: Work may include drainage infrastructure improvements along Lois Branch consisting of channel conveyance improvements, associated storm drain improvements, and underground detention, from approximately 600 feet south of Spring Valley Road to Highland Boulevard, including related drainage structures and components, and site restoration, as needed.

Erosion Control Projects

  • Erosion control improvements at various locations to address erosion affecting drainage corridors, public infrastructure, and adjacent property, including stabilization and related infrastructure measures, as needed.

Erosion control projects address areas where erosion has been identified through drainage system evaluations and ongoing monitoring.
