If you are a regular player at Richardson’s Sherrill Park Golf Course or you are planning to play your first round, you now have access to a new tool that will not only help you navigate the 36-hole layout but may also help to shave a couple of strokes off your scorecard tally.
Sherrill Park has collaborated with Gallus Golf to offer a free smartphone app that provides golfers a variety of features for use before, during and after a round. The app contains a graphic representation of each hole’s layout on Course 1 and Course 2 and flyover videos will soon be available for all 18 holes on Course 1. Video of Course 2 holes will be available later this year.
|Tee times||Use the app to book your next round.|
|Scoring||A digital scorecard allows you to track your game with other players and supports formats like skins, Stableford, stroke and par scoring.|
|Score posting||You can post your score to your handicap account with a tap of a button as well as access recent scores.|
|Leaderboards||Allows golfers to follow each other in real time during golf outings and tournaments.|
|Social Sharing||A one-tap share feature that makes it fun and easy for golfers to post to Facebook, Twitter, e-mail and more during or after their round.|
