The Richardson Fire Department is getting into the holiday spirit this month, as it begins collecting toys and food for Network of Community Ministries. The department’s Annual Toy and Food Drive kicks off Nov. 24 and runs through Dec. 15, with donation drop-off sites located at city facilities.

Due to another round of thunderstorms that are on their way toward Richardson, the decision has been made to close the Huffhines Harvest Festival for the remainder of Saturday. Huffhines Harvest Festival will be open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday.
